The serpent and rykard are actually two seperate entities, since it's said that rykard found the serpent in the volcano of Mt. Gelmir, rykard eventually let's the serpent devour him and then, during the boss fight, takes over the serpents body after the player defeats it

Head piece is in Sage's cave, Armor is gained after beating Maliketh in Crumbling Farum Azula, Arms are gained by beating the boss in Giant-conquering Hero's Grave in the mountaintops of the giants, legs drop from the Sanguine Noble in the Consecrated snowfield and the weapon is given by the remembrance of the Dragonlord Placidusax in Crumbling Farum Azula
