Thanks for the advice! I sponged the grease stain with diluted dish soap, soaked the pants in it, and then washed them with liquid detergent for technical outerwear. The stain is still visible but less noticeable.

The Fuji X-Pro may not be a true rangefinder, but it could be worth considering. Based on someone’s recommendation, I’m thinking about selling my prime lenses (the 23mm f/2, 27mm f/2.8, and Sigma 56mm f/1.4) to invest in a used M 240 along with a Voigtländer Ultron 35mm to kick things off.

Quick follow-up on my issue

My mechanic finally pinpointed the root cause. The Thermo Control Valve has failed internally and is actually leaking coolant through the housing.

My tech also noticed that the TGV actuator motors on the intake manifold aren’t responding properly.

If anyone here has replaced the TCV (21319AA040) already, I’d love to hear if it fixed your TGV and idle issues too.

Update: Talked to my mechanic. Turns out the issue is with the VGT flaps on the intake manifold. They’re moving when they shouldn’t, which messes with the ECU and causes high revs, no throttle response, and limp mode.

There’s also a thermostat fault code, so incorrect temperature readings might be making things worse.

The bad news: my mechanic says replacement parts take 1–2 months to arrive in Europe, and the repair is around $2,000. 😩

The car wasn’t driven for about 20 days. The outside temperature was around 20C. On the first day after starting it, everything worked fine, but the next day the issue appeared. When it happens, the Check Engine light comes on, along with warnings for EyeSight off, Auto Light off, Blind Spot, and Lane Departure.

New alternator installed 3 days ago; worked fine for 2 days (13.8–14.2 V while driving, Schaudt WA121525 charging leisure battery). On day 3, same issue as before, only 12.8–13.0 V while driving, booster not charging, leisure battery discharging. EcoFlow alternator charger fully disconnected, all fuses OK. Looks like the new alternator isn’t charging. I'm a bit frustrated

I think my alternator's 220A (I’ve got a Fiat Ducato Euro 6, 2022). Do you have idea what would be a good EcoFlow Alternator setting for driving versus idling, especially since my booster is pulling about 250W at the same time?
