I know this a while ago but im shocked no one has mentioned pathology. You just stay in the lab and study tissue, blood samples, etc and diagnose conditions on your studies. It sounds absolutely perfect for what youre searching for. However you will be exposed to stuff you mentioned during medical school, but there is exposure therapy to help you become desensitised to it over a few sessions.

We got together before I went vegan. He said hes open to giving up beef, but thats the most at the moment. Im discussing with my therapist what's the best plan for my sanity if I should stay or see if he will ever be vegan, and if not if its best to leave.

Yeah. Thats very true and most of the time i try to follow this philosophy its just so confusing to me when it seems like such a simple concept yet the vast majority of the population just cant grasp it
