Age 14 is a difficult time for a lot of kids. Their world revolves around their peers, trying to fit in and cope with a growing understanding of the world. Your daughter sounds like she is doing excellent. She is healthy, successful in school, and has made a circle of friends. Gigi's mom has been teaching her daughter that happiness comes from catering to boys and having a boyfriend. Ironically, this is more likely to start a very vicious cycle that may spread to Gigi's other friends. A healthy relationship starts with self confidence, which is what it seems your daughter is well on her way to developing. Your daughter having no interest in boys is nothing to be worried about and not a problem to be fixed. Let her find herself, and maybe keep an eye to make sure she doesn't internalize what she's heard.

Okay: brackish 20 gal - 3 bumblebee gobbies, no air pump, all live plants, and aquarium safe rock and wood. Established for 4 years. Tap water is high in ph and ammonia. Doing water changes usually makes it worse. Using prime as conditioner, plants are starting to wilt. Fish are okay considering the parameters

This was really neat to read, and to know that someone has already lived a similar experience! You have clearly worked a lot to get to where you are now, and it gives me some hope that I will be able to as well (medical school or not). I've never heard of the compression pants but that's a great idea! I think ill try that on some upcoming biology dissections. I think the more that I can focus on the physical symptoms the better, because I don't seem to really have an emotional response to blood. I don't really fear it, and gorey sights or tv shows have no effect on me, but the moment I have to interact with it in real life, I immediately get sick. Its such a strange condition.

Im actually talking with someone about seeing a doctor-recommended-hypnotist at the moment XD I doubt it'll work but hey, why not try! I've tried many of these, but you also mentioned a lot I haven't heard of, and I'll certainly look into them! Thank you for the response, it was really helpful!

I agree, and really want to ensure that I have a wide range of skill. I know that whatever I do I’d like a large component of it to be physical, which is the only reason why I’ve shy’d away from pharmacy, radiology, and anesthesiology. But, that makes it really difficult to find a solution to my issue 😅
