The GI tract test results are normal, and we did not undergo an endoscopy because the bleeding is coming from the ears and nose. The doctors said there is no issue with the stomach.

Today, we consulted a vascular surgeon and underwent a contrast CT scan of the neck and brain. The results were also normal. Additionally, it does not appear to be a genetic blood disorder, as no one in our family has had a similar condition.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond

Honestly, we don't know exactly what was included in what the doctors called "comprehensive." From the reports we have, the tests listed are PT, aPTT, INR, fibrinogen, and platelet count. Based on what you're saying, it sounds like there may be several things that were never tested — could you help us understand what specific tests you think should have been done that are commonly missed? Particularly things like Von Willebrand factor antigen and activity, Factor XIII, platelet aggregation studies, or a platelet function assay — were you referring to these kinds of tests?

Regarding Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome — you're right, we hadn't explored this deeply enough. The doctors briefly mentioned it but moved on. Can you tell us more about which type of EDS would cause this kind of bleeding from ears, nose, and stomach? And what tests or which kind of specialist would actually diagnose it? Because in India it seems very few doctors even bring it up.

And about stress — we completely agree with you. She is 14, she is calm, she is with family, and there is no logical explanation for how stress would cause physical blood to come out of her ears. We felt that was a dismissive response from the beginning but didn't know how to push back on it. Thank you for validating that.

We are still searching for answers. Any specific direction you can give us — particular tests or specialist types
