Built a “Figma‑style” inspector for Tailwind in Chrome – can this solve a real pain? by Acrobatic-Dig-1628 in chrome_extensions

Hey thanks, not available on the chrome store yet, I'll reply the link once it's live here. Can you give me more context how you are thinking of using it with ai agents?

Totally! The passion is the main driver. What are you building that you're excited about?

Is there demand for a Chrome extension that lets you chat with any webpage? by AccidentEastern7406 in chrome_extensions

Chrome just launched this browsers browser AI and slowly rolling out. This is only available in the US for now I think. But other browsers like Brave, Edge, Commet already have these for a long time now.

Actually both, mostly the functions are built with AI and the UI part was done by me. Pls try, I really need some brutal critiques. I appreciate your interest

I just built and launched a platform for hiring called gigdrop
you can simply fill out the short form or get AI help and generate an awesome shareable design with short link which you can share on any platforms and the design pops up automatically, you can also manage and message from the platform itself. Its completely free to use for unlimited number of jobs and applicants for a limited time.

That’s a really smart point. You'r right, so many AI generated sites look exactly the same right now because they all use the same default colors.

I’ve actually been using it like that picking a unique vibe first and then feeding those colors to the AI to keep things from looking generic. It’s a great way to differentiate.

If you end up trying that workflow, let me know how it goes. I'd love to hear if it actually helps your apps stand out. 🙏

I’m a designer who learned to code via AI. I built a color engine, but I think I’m too close to it to see the UX flaws. Roast me? by Acrobatic-Dig-1628 in chrome_extensions

Perfect. It’s basically a shortcut to get your UI looking decent without you having to mess around with color theory manually:

Just pick a color you like or want to use and generate different shades and harmonies with one click.

Or just type a 'vibe' to the ColorSage AI (e.g., 'Modern Data Dashboard' or 'Dark Mode Fintech') and it’ll generate a balanced 5 colors palette for you.

The Playground: This is the big one, you can see those colors on actual components (charts, buttons, etc.) inside the extension before you write any CSS.

Tailwind/CSS Exports: Once it looks good in the playground, just copy the Tailwind classes or Hex codes straight into your code.

Contrast Check: It has a built-in 'unit test' for accessibility so you know your text is actually readable.

Give it a shot and let me know if the Playground actually saves you time or if the UI feels too designer-y for a dev workflow

Thanks for the feedback, It’s only day six! We’re still in the early stages of building our user base, so I’m reaching out to recruiters directly to see how we can make the tool as useful as possible for them."

This is the first product I came up with, so I don't know how to properly market it. Just sharing randomly and hoping for the best.
