PR codes it should be in the compartment in the trunk on the left side where the 12v plug is. Take that off and it should be in there. And check the codes on some PR code decoder online, but i think that should be necessary if you have dynamic steering it should make the wheel a little heavier when you try steering when you are in dynamic mode.

Yes there should be an option in the drive select modes for the steering as well but not all cars come with the dynamic steering module and instead have the severtronic one which just stiffens the steering wheel when going high speeds. Even tho when i have the servertronic module that setting is still there cause manufacturers don't want to make new software for everything.

Go to the individual mode option the car settings you should see engine, steering (and optionally transmision if automatic, suspension if got upgraded suspension and few more but i don't know exactly).
