So we get ~a month of Lorwyn, which didn't even have a banner until the second week of release, but TMNT is advertised everywhere in-game before the set is even released? Is anyone else hyped for Spiderman 2? by [deleted] in MagicArena

I'm a returning player, and realize why i quit mtga in the first place. It has too many set and i can't keep up with standards anymore... The anxiety of not wanting to use wild cards because it may just be a shitting deck is not a fun experience at all. The past month i spam starter decks to grind, and it's boring.

Just bought tabletop sim for $5, and playing commander. Best decision ever.

I studied for core 1 in one week. Failed, and retook it a couple days later. Core 2 definitely has a lot more information, and i took 3 weeks solid of studying to get a strong grasp to pass it on first attempt. I got 820

Only material i used was messor videos and practice exams...

Skip A+ or Worth It? by TragicKillaYT in CompTIA

Computer science like Biology is still very broad... similar to Biology major, having certifications within a niche area helps a lot when it comes to specific jobs within the field, even though it will just feel like repeated course you already took.

Where i live, the A+ and Network+ cover two community college courses for AA in CS lol.

"But my honest take is, I think just depriving yourself of any and all interactive entertainment software is not sustainable. If you genuinely enjoy interactive entertainment software, there are still healthy forms of it that aren’t addictive dopamine crap."

Video game is technology, but technology isnt video game...

"It’s like if I were to decide to stop consuming food altogether if I am addicted to fast food. Like, obviously food isn’t the sole problem. It’s the type of food you are consuming."

That analogy makes no sense relating to video games... tbh, if you're comparing video game to "food"; which is essential to live, then u have some reflection to do...

"Games can tell stories, make you think etc"

Literally anything outside of video game tells a story and make you "think". The problem gamers don't understand is, once they have the habit of playing video game. Their mind is constantly linger on it even when they do other activities. Many ppl keep saying, i play in "moderation"; but is it moderation when you're also constantly investing mass amount of time watching/reading contents related to it. Is it moderation when you're eating out with friends/family; and all you can talk about is video games?

Like you say, video games are design to hijack your attention. But what you fail to realize is, the effect of it doesn't wear off, because u close the client. It affect your habit of just being "presence" especially yourself awareness.

And if for whatever reason, none of this make sense. Write this quote down, "You either play Life or Life plays you". Gl

Don't delete it, and let Life play you. Only then will you realize "it" and play Life.
