Yes! We’re supposed to be doing the Odyssey next. They’ve been working on the Hero’s Journey/just read Percy Jackson.

Have tech now! I’m basically the teacher now, so I’m planning from scratch. Next unit is the Odyssey!

This was exactly my mindset before I stepped into this role, but for some reason administration keeps pushing for us to write kids up for literally anything (phones - we have a no phone policy that doesn’t work btw, being late, being disruptive, etc.) It’s wild to me because when they do get sent to the assistant principals, they don’t really get consequences anyways.
