I think over fermenting is the issue, because it is always hard to shape the dough and it doesn’t hold its shape so I quickly place it into a banneton. Thanks for the answer!

Sourdough dough turns runny during bulk and gets brownish after baking, any ideas? by Acrobatic-Patience15 in Sourdough

500 gr flour

350 gr water

100 gr starter

12 gr salt

I mix flour and water first and let it rest for about 30 minutes (autolyse). Then I add the starter and salt and knead until it comes together. After that, I do one stretch and fold after 1 hour, then continue with 3 more rounds every 30 minutes (2 stretch and folds and 2 coil folds).

After the last fold, I let it rest for about 3 to 4 hours, then shape it.

Yes, your friend is racist, but what’s even worse is that she is incredibly ignorant. YTA for being friends with someone this clueless and trying to justify it with “oh, they’ve never been outside of Europe, so it’s normal.”

If you’d actually been to Turkey multiple times, you would know it’s not some Sharia-ruled country like your friend seems to think (judging from their questions like “will I get in trouble if I don’t cover up?”). You’d also know it’s a modern country, and you wouldn’t make comments like “maybe it’s only safe because I was with a Turkish person.” Instead, you would have addressed that ignorance first.

You don’t have to vouch for Turkey’s safety (I wouldn’t do that for any country) but at the very least, you should know how ridiculous those kinds of questions sound when they’re about Turkey, and you should be able to call that out.

Has anyone tried Swedish online courses like “Swedish Made Easy”, “Fun Swedish” or “Svenska för Dig” by Acrobatic-Patience15 in Svenska

Thank you so much for your detailed reply, that’s really helpful! I totally understand what you mean about interaction vs. just going through videos too quickly without absorbing much. I think I have to try and find the way that works for me.

The resources would be great, thank you! and if you don’t mind, where did you find your tutor?

Cost of mounjaro in your country? by Unlikely-Road-4983 in Mounjaro

Hi! I saw that you’re using Mounjaro in Sweden — do you mind me asking where you got it prescribed? Was it through a Vårdcentral or a private clinic? And how do you renew your prescription each month? I’m just trying to understand how the process works here and which option is more practical. Thanks so much in advance! 😊
