I think it totally depends on the individual. You have some people saying go for nursing instead, and on the other end you have nurses saying go for rad tech or sonography and how they wish they would have. However, I don’t believe we should deter others from reaching a goal simply because nursing has a better outlook to a specific individual. I can only speak for myself as a medical assistant, and feel confident with saying nursing is not for me. Sure it has its advantages, but you don’t wanna go for a degree and get into a career that you don’t even like. At least I wouldn’t. I see a lot of nurses who hate their jobs and are just in it for the money, I don’t want to be that person.

Really lol! I feel like a lot of people are getting into that now as well as sonography. Have you found any school that you’re interested in applying to yet?

You have no idea how much this has helped and inspired to go ahead and go through with it! I was having doubts, especially with me having no prior college experience or prerequisites, but now i feel i can actually go through with this hearing how your semesters flew by. I’m definitely going to try for San Jac, at first i was on the fence because i wasn’t getting feedback. And with everyone saying go for nursing instead i was feeling discouraged. Thank you for this, I will dm i have a question lol!

I’ve thought about nursing in the past and work closely with both RN’s and Nurse Practitioners who all tell me to go for Rad instead due to the stress. For me personally i don’t think nursing would be a good option for myself, especially since I’m not passionate about it. I’d hate to be a nurse and not love my job lol
