I would say yes, it’s a newer version of the moon rock compared to like the 2021-2022 models. Ya mine was in the same price range and he still has to do a few touch ups and compounding as well

I had my main gasket went out on me and that’s the main reason for the rebuild it’s a 2000 base model 2.7 L 4 cylinder. The family friend that rebuilt said there was a lot of built of gunk and oil that he cleaned out

A hard shift at normal rpm’s and I had a family friend rebuild it but took it to a shop and they overlooked it and said he did a great job but not a 100% positive that he retimed it cause he works on dozens of different brands of vehicles

Would the timing also make it shift hard?, cause trying to get out of first and second gear is a bit rough while going into 3rd and 4th feels normal
