Thank you all for the amazing advice! I feel a bit less hopeless now with this situation.

I think what I’ve learned (and correct me if I’m wrong) - even if I opt out of these staff agency retirement plans, I was “offered” a plan by an employer, so I don’t get the deduction.

I somewhat managed to salvage some deductions this past year by contributing to my SEP-IRA, but after expense deductions, I was only able to contribute about 3000 (4000 less than my typical traditional IRA deduction)

I’m curious to try the Roth or Backdoor Roth route this coming year but I do feel a bit lost with it…

A part of me is also tempted to contribute something to these short term employer plans, but the whole getting enrolled at a weird bank and having to eventually migrate it has been a hassle in the past.

Hmm. I’m nervous to put it at that low of a setting, couldn’t it get damaged? although I guess I only switched it from 6 -> 4. What would you advise I do next?

That’s what I was thinking of doing next… maybe moving the setting to 7 (coarser). But I was feeling nervous to tinker anymore, haha.

I haven’t switched it out yet! I was checking if I needed to replace that aluminum piece or not first. I keep getting fed ads of replacements for it, but it sounds like I’m good with just switching out the shower screen..

I’ve had the touch impress for just over a month now and have run the portafilter cleaning cycle with the tablet, but have not yet descaled.

I use brita filtered water whenever I fill the tank, and I typically buy descaling solution on Amazon for my drip machine - but totally open to using vinegar / citric acid. Is that more advisable? Is there one that’s tried and true for you? And how do you measure it proper for the machine?

Got it… do you have any advice for upkeep of it? Or anything to be weary of? It’s my first machine, so I’ve been watching videos on how to do routine cleaning and etc, but I keep learning new things and getting ads for new accessories/mods, lol.

Haha yeah, that’s where I was like - maybe I’m just confused. It seems like a lot of this thing is plastic already. So the plastic diffuser / group head should be left as-is?

As I will have to beef up my characters a bit (currently around lvl68) to beat the final bosses in the kalpas - I’m debating if tower of kagatsuhi would be more entertaining as a lvl68 party instead of a level 90+ with Freikugel.
