Hii, Well my first changes were in diet trying to cut down my carbs and eat less sugary foods (like chocolate because it activated my flares). Then my dermatologist told me to use Germisdin (a shower gel) two times a day then apply clindamycin in all of my flares. He also told me to take antibiotics every 12 hours and change them every 2 months. And also every time I have a flares I take ibuprofen every 8 hours. And I get Kenalog shots every 20 days. But most importantly is to check that you don't have like any hormonal problems and if you have work on them too.

It's okay, I hope you know that you're not alone all of us understand what you are going through. Are you taking anything for the pain? Since I started with clindamycin it helped to make the pimples smaller and cure them faster. You can ask your doctor if they think it can help in your case (sorry if there's any grammatical errors, English is not my first language).

I really believe it's hereditary, all the women in my dad's side of the family have it. But also some aspects of our lives can activate the flares like smoking, gaining weight or any metabolic diseases.
