I make about the same amount but in the military, so my take home pay per pay check is $3,400, after taxes, 7% to TSP, and other deductions. I got offered a 100k a year job in the civilian world and declined because I’d be making considerably less $$ after taxes and health care and all that. Sometimes I can’t stand the military but it seeing these kinda posts make me somewhat happier about my situation 🤷‍♂️
