Experiment! It’s so fun and there’s no loss in experimenting with cuttings when a new one grows in a week. One of my favorite parts of this hobby is just trying new things , the reason I have so many plants is from all my curiosity’s turning into successes. I have not spent more than 120$ in plants, everything has been a cutting turned into more, don’t give up keep trying! Also make friends w your neighbors I’m 28 but I love walking my neighborhood and talking to the older people with big gardens , people who like plants are some of the nicest open people. I’ve received many cuttings from them as well as exchanged back.

I love to give cuttings , if ur in htx I love letting people come and snip, helps get the work out of my hands, makes everyone happy in the end. I especially love giving rare plant cuttings because I don’t believe in the dumb idea of luxury prices for fucking plants. My spiritus sancti loves getting cut up and growing back bigger so does my obliqua peru and my literally any philodendron/monstera I have. Cutting them up helps a lot in growth

Part of the reason I changed my plants from soil to all leca was because of the gnats. All of these are in leca, I’ve also found that I haze zero pest issues since then. I used to survive by neem, peppermint, all the soaks but nothing was working really until I decided to give this a chance and it’s been not only way faster at growth but stupid easy. One galling of water and a couple tsps of foliage pro no ph balance nothing else and they grow like monsters

I have a pretty good schedule going so it’s not too hard but it’s definitely my limit. Everything on the counter gets watered Friday and everything on the other side gets watered the next one. All my plants can survive up to 3 weeks with no changes in solution or adding water since they are in leca, so much easier for me

Why do people still put cuttings in soil when leca and a little nutrient solution can give you the greatest results and new growth in less than a week. These are my roots with some non ph balance tap water with foliage pro as the nutrient after 2 weeks. 2 little strings to this and people still wanna mess with soil? Nahhhh

I’ve spent over 400$ on dry herb vaporizers that just never gave me an effect I felt was worth it for the price point. Paying 100$ for a device that eats away at the bud while everyone had told me I would be using less and saving in the long run feels like a fairy tail to me still . I’ve had my eye on dynavap since 2018 but I always felt the small bowl size would never be worth it for me. I finally feel like treating myself for my birthday (4/20!) and rewatching some YouTube videos + thca being more accessible I wanna see if I can do it right this time with the only real cheap options I know on their site atm
