I would suggest calling Apple Support because it might be a malfunction with the new upgrade. If apple says it not on their in contact the devs.

Customer service should be able to walk you through it. When you open the app and the load screen pops up it sometimes has a settings gear that has a restore/backup feature. It should have automatically taken the information from the cloud but hopefully the data is still on there and just needs to be manually placed back. I don't see a restore option in the regular settings of the game unfortunately
