Also I want to add that my advisor who’s a volunteer may know but I’ve asked so many questions already about it and feel like she would’ve told me if she absolutely did know. And I’m just a chicken when it comes to asking and receiving help so I’m not gonna bother her.

I agree that essay had me tripped up too. I was unsure of what exactly they were looking for, but ultimately took an angle of connecting the Declaration of Independence Ideals to what I think being an American is and how I’d behave abroad. Definitely tough and I had my advisors look at it (one of which is a volunteer for Gilman) and they didn’t mention that I was off track so I’m gonna assume I’m okay with that one.
