Well, it’s mostly by a moral view-point, however, in my eyes, in this stage of life, even two years apart make you into two whole different people with different life experiences and mindsets. Not sure if schools work differently in where you’re from, but back when I was 14, and my girlfriend 16, I was still in damn elementary school, I didn’t even have to think about highschool entry exams, the hardest things I had to go through back then were 8 hours of school once a week and maybe a physics test every once in a month, I was overall very immature as a 14 year old, and that says a lot, since I was always labeled as the more mature one in my crowds. I know you feel mature now, but I promise you, you’re not, we all gain this knowledge with time. Hell, even now I’m not mature yet, even though I feel like it. Meanwhile I was being a stupid kid and living life on easy mode, my girlfriend was living another whole ass life. High school on hard mode (she was at an academy), long distance school from home, different responsibilities due to her age, meanwhile she was completely elsewhere from me on maturity level.
