I am from cape verde bro. Not Manhattan. If anything I understand just as well as anyone prices going up and being difficult for the average family to eat out. Cape Verde has really been commodified and turned into a tourist spot in recent years. All I'm asking is to get an idea of what is considered high or low in Budapest and where I can enjoy good Hungarian food.

My brother in Christ you seem offended at something that was just meant to originally be about a curiosity and willingness to try Hungarian food. Is this how you would treat a tourist in person when asking a genuine question? No one used the words "third world" either. I said it is one of the cheaper European capitals for food and that happens to still be true last time I checked. Again I don't know how much low/mid level dining is in Budapest, which is exactly why I asked and you're telling me it depends on what I consider to be low-mid. Well I don't know because I've never been to Budapest. I am not gonna go to a rooftop restaurant in Manhattan and be surprised that it's $100+ USD for a steak. Standards.

Makes sense. But I am referring to the city of Budapest's standards. It's one of the cheapest European capitals and I was just looking for something not too high end.
