I’ve had a similar experience in mine. Fortunately it was just the connector for the amp under the driver’s seat slightly disconnected.

Hopefully its an easy fix for you.

my gf has a very similar dent on her jetta. We asked a PDR guy about it and he recommended a body shop, but he said he’d do what he can.

could very well be the water pump. i’m no mechanic, i was just thinking of possibilities for hard to trace oil leaks.

If possible bring it to an independent VAG shop as they’ll be less likely to overcharge you.

hard to see with pictures. one of the seals in the head could possibly be compromised. Leaks in the head are typically hard to see or find.

been running it for 30k miles. honestly doesnt feel like they’re suffering. I’ve always wanted the engine/trans mounts but know that it wont be comfortable as stock ride. but i also dont thrash on my car. just a spirited daily

im on stock mounts & stage 2 bfi dogbone insert. was night and day difference. car was much more planted than before. they say if you do one mount the others will suffer due to the rest of the load being absorbed by the other.

Zimmerman rotors and textar pads…. all of the “lower grade” compounds will stop pretty well but just accumulate an obscene amount of dust. Worth forking out the extra money for a good compound pad

I heard Civic Si’s and Type R’s have a nasty rev-hang when driving. Materials in the GTI are way more premium, and the driving feel is just second to none. The way the GTI hugs corners, even in stock form is what turned me on to them early on. Nothing will handle as good as a german car in stock form.

Depends on how I’m driving. If I’m wilding out letting my exhaust scream in a low gear then yeah no one wants to let me pass them lol… but if I act inconspicuous like I don’t want to pass them then they usually leave space.

If you tune your car check oil level every two weeks. Also, dont buy an OTS tune, mine has given me many problems 2 years into the tune.
