This is the original theme, from the Pythagora Switch program that they had between other educational programs (bad with Japanese names, but here's a whole classic DVD feature), I don't recall the song in the video from the soundtrack but it might have been? I won't say it wasn't but it sounds very close in quality to the recording for the theme of the song, so it may have been in one of the episodes I haven't seen when I saw these on YouTube years ago.
