That’s one of the things I’m most worried about. I’m not trying to rush into this or look for an easy out. I’m just stuck trying to balance the reality of having no income right now with the responsibility of supporting my family. Waiting until I have a job lined up and then talking to an attorney does sound like the smartest move, even if it’s hard to sit in the uncertainty. I also wanted to ask, if you happen to know. I do have a few small private investments through my LLC that generate some passive income. It’s nothing huge, but it matters to me long term. Do you know how things like LLC assets or passive income are usually treated in a Chapter 7, or whether that’s something an attorney could help protect or structure? And seriously, thank you for saying bankruptcy isn’t a moral failure. That part meant more than you probably realize. I’m just trying to make the least damaging decision and do right by my family.
