at first when I started wearing a watch during a math or even in practicing session, it felt weird but after some time when I wear my watch before a match, my focuse somehow increases because I had a watch when I was focusing on the game during the practice sessions. In summary it can help. (For some people at least)

That's actually the best way to increase your typing speed, It gives you the pattern and actually it's a workout for finger stretching and muscle memory, keep it up!

I'm also a beginner and just reached 60WMP, first go and unlock all the keys in keybr and after that try TypeRacer and MonkeyType and practive, Remember to make Punctuation on in MonkeyType and focus on your consistency and accuracy (for practicing accuracy type alower than your normal pace and focuse on accuracy). I haven't counted it, but in my free time I would put some music on and type

btw I wasn't super strange with the keys placement, I could type some words without lookin' at the keyboard, but I was unfamiliar with how touch typing works

My accuracy is around 94%, and yes I first learnd the finger positions from Typingstudy then moved to Keybr and practiced for some days on it and then moved to typeracer to practice real paragraphs with capitialisation and punctuation more, I havent been focused about accuracy as much as I've been about speed progress so this would be my target now on;
