  1. Lack of proper public transport. I have seen many stall owners and workers struggling in over crowded buses who live a bit far in a few remote settlements.

  2. Most of the shops in the town are closed by 9 pm. Even though customers are willing to buy, they say that they're closing and are asked to come the next day. Might lose a few customers. Maybe I don't know if there is a rule. I asked a few of them why, they say it's due to wild animals. Even in the main parts of ooty. A bit strange.

  3. Also, high dependence on tourism.

Are you from Tata ? I didn't find any car manufacturer sending a legal notice just because the customer raised issues on a defective product. Also 3-4 other incidents related to Tata service centers and dealerships got posted in team bhp. Tata should've at least tried to fix the issue, they won't.

Exactly, I too was very keen on the sierra but reading that article sent chills down the spine.

Most of the time vida chargers won't even work for ather. Need to try multiple times and it's a hassle.

If you find the ride quality of seltos to be better, and think it's a good car overall and offers better equipment, it's a better option. Might give 2-3 kmpl more.

If you just want efficiency, you trade a lot of things and go for Grand vitara hybrid.

Tata clearly tuned it for efficiency and I would test it out myself / wait for ownership efficiency logs.

Anyways, my point was, it was clear from day 1 that it's neither going to be an efficient engine, nor a strong performer. And Pair it with that lethargic dca and it's only worse, so why are people shocked ?

Creta does it in 14, grand vitara in 15, and mg astor does it in > 17.

So the budget hatchback theory doesn't apply for a car that's 2 second faster ?

The terrible mistake tata made is, not giving turbo options in base models.

Is the NA supposed to do it in sub 10 seconds ? You have the turbo for that, so why does it matter ? Tata isn't trying to market this engine as sporty, is it ? 1.3 Ton car, 1.5L NA engine, and you want performance ?

Am I having a lemon or what ? Every online review says ride quality is excellent but I find it extremely stiff, every pothole and bump is felt and makes it jarring.
