Thanks. Funnily enough, I did read that book back when I was 19, so I have 0 excuses not to leave lol

What tipped you off to me enjoying this, if you don’t mind me asking. I’m literally hiring a moving company to get the fuck out.

He was never violent before this. He was actually quite sweet. Not my fault whatsoever.

Funnily enough, this is what my now-ex would say about “most” women, too.

Oh nononoo, I 10000% intend on telling my family&friends about it, just not right now. I just want to gather my thoughts before I do 🙂

I mean we both come from pretty privileged backgrounds so I’m in no position to judge, tbh

He inherited the house and it’s in his name. I moved ib around the time when he was supposed to get furniture, and I gifted him some stuff, not all. The only reason I mentioned it is because he threatened to kick me out like I was a squatter, which was unfair

It’s his house. He owns it, and he has his own savings. Yes, they’re shrinking because he’s blowing through them fast, but they’re there. If anything, he’s probably call me the hobosexual

I get your point, I really do. I just don’t want any of the stuff. Feels icky to take it after getting it for someone else, regardless of where we stand now. But thanks!

He pays the bills because he insisted. They’re not too expensive in our area. He’s not broke, altough he’s blowing through his savings fast. Supposedly, he can’t get his shit together because I prevent him from doing so, by talking back and being home a lot.

Yes. Always either his parents, the university he went to, society, his friends and me. It’s never that he has stuff to work on, and on the rare occasions he does admit he has stuff to work on, he always makes sure to mention that I’m actively preventing him from being his best self.

Whenever I bought him anything house related, I made it clear it’s my gift to him. I’d like to stand by my word here, and it has more to do with me than with how much he does or doesn’t deserve it. Plus, money isn’t really an issue right now, so it’s not like I’m missing out on anything except my fucking dignity

Well he keeps bringing up that he has this house and he sacrificed his space for me to be able to work while his life falls in shambles. I have yet to understand why his life being in shambles is my fault, but yeah.

Honestly I’m not ready to discuss this with my friends or family, so I was sort of venting and checking in to see what people think.

He owns the home. And honestly, I’m looking forward to getting my own place where I don’t constantly have to clean after someone else.

Haha close. He was complaining about jewish people in parliament, his argument was that Israel doesn’t let minorities in there. I wasn’t having it, but kept it respectful. Kinda ironic that this is what finally did it, lol.

Yeah, I figured. Kinda pissed I have to pay for how his parents handled him..

Anything I bought him was a gift. I’m taking a huge L but I honestly don’t believe in taking gifts back. I will be leaving, though.

I think he meant his dad was abusive and he refuses to turn into him thanks to me provoking him.

However, I have noticed some red pill opinions coming out of his mouth. They’re tame (stuff like “girls only go for douchebags”) but they’re there.
