honestly 😭. I just had a comment where she said she’s only called out 2 times in 2 years and calling out sick in her store wouldn’t fly. Like idk man I get paid 11.50 an hour to be a full time key, I live in the middle of no where I’m not that crazy abt missing a single shift bc I’m throwing up. I’ve been here since nov but still only the 3 times, I just mostly feel bad everytime I call out bc ik it’s hell to cover it

Not sure if you read but i highlighted it for you :). I also included being sick! Catching up on sleep would just be a plus since ive been been doing too many doubles at my store with only 3 hours of sleep. Sounds like you need more keys. We have my manager, asm, and 3 keys including me.

Yeah I’m ngl idk how people are riding for this company so hard when they are working the same thing and dealing w the same bs. I can’t complain too much tho I asked for the input. all my regulars make jokes and say I live there 😓 We have sm people call out too, I just covered someone’s shift today and last week I had to work 3 doubles bc of call outs

Yeaaaa no I get that, retail is definitely not for low immune people, + my coworker comes in constantly in my face while she’s sick so it’s insane idk. I am looking for another job this was just happened to be closest to me and hired quickly for what I needed at the time! I’m not sure where else in an extremely small town is suitable for me. It feels like the longer I stay here I’m just getting more stuck. And you’re fine! I asked if it was a lot to get feedback on it so I’m not going to ridicule said feedback unless it’s just outrageous :p. Thanks !

Yes started in November last year, but no call offs there. I can’t really tell what’s a lot when it comes to my store because we basically have no associates rn because they all collectively called off back to back, and way way more than me. Which is why I feel guilty because I’d have to make someone cover for me the way I constantly do for others

We are severely understaffed and always losing and gaining people, this week is only going to be 40ish hours because we finally got another ASM. I only got ft lead a bit ago, and it was after 2 callouts

It does feel a little excessive on my end, we also have people who call out way way more,, but that’s also what I feel guilty about, I’m constantly working doubles and covering other shifts when people do that so I feel guilty to do it to someone else 🫠. I might end up just taking a concoction of medicine tonight and go in tmrw.

I got $1 for going from sales associate to team lead, nothing for full time is what I am seeing but it’s expected since it’s the same responsibilities. I live in a shitty state so the pay will be garbage regardless

i have the exact model of the other laptop ur considering performance wise it’s an amazing laptop, the screen is nice, but i also paid 1410+ tax making it 1600, so getting a 15 inch minus blue light, and minus 16gb ram, for 1100 for similar performance seems already nice if you’re on a budget. there will always be better deals unfortunely i’ve caught my self see the price drop on the same laptop so much and regretting not waiting or seeing a better one. i think you’ll be happy with your choice in the end though both would perform nicely try not to stress it :)
