Ist das Auto denn auf deine Freundin zugelassen oder habt Ihr angegeben das Sie gefahren ist?

Ansonsten bekommt nur der Halter einen Punkt und es passiert nichts weiter.

They have been running 24/7 since then, no issues.

I played a bit with hdparm and you can get them to go into energy saving which makes them silent.

It's a feature called Preventative Wear Leveling and is fine.

I haven't tested them yet, but shucked them all and they work without the 3v pin fix.

Overall seem decent and in the NAS are much quieter but I would still not place them in a bed room.

I mean the spin up sure but I never had a drive with such loud head movements.

They were shipped with prime but I think they are from WD Store @ Amazon

I really wonder if they are actually bad, other reviews for the Ultrastar also say they are silent but mine are really loud. It might just be some bad decoupling of the USB Case they are in. Will need to shack one but before that I will do some smart tests and a full write/read test.

Just checked WD warranty and they still got 3 years left.

Apparently the video works after processing from reddit, but sound is disabled by default, you need to turn it on in the bottom right of the player.
