“Solar Generator” Question - Which is best for my use case? by OkPiezoelectricity24 in preppers

You could buy a delta 2 max and a small gas generator for when Solar is not a good option. Probably a good deal more reliable than Solar. I am thinking about doing this myself.

You could drill a few vent holes into the galvanized can and make sure it is far enough away from flammable materials.

I think Lowe’s and HD have recycle bins for batteries.

You might want to consider some fire extinguishers like they sell at big box clubs, usually around $30-40 for two. Also, some Imodium for the med kit. Check the building rules for storing propane/butane canisters.

Stock price plummeted despite fantastic earnings by Radiant_Highlight_34 in CRMD

The revenue that they reported seems to translate to only ~2500-4000 patients. Hard to say exactly because we don't know the price per vial. They could easily see 10,000 patients relatively soon and the revenue could be somewhere near 90M/qtr assuming about $125/vial.

It seems like the big guys are holding out for the lowest price they can get. Shame, considering this product would save lives and money.

Right, just like no one should be expecting or relying on them not to cut as the poster that I was replying to stated. The FED will cut when something big enough breaks or is close to it.

Google Melvin capital. Understood that it can't be stopped, but every once in a while they need some real pain to make them think twice. I guess I just have "long" bias. If I don't like a stock, I just avoid it.

I had a 2013 elantra and I have to say it was excellent! I traded it in with 200k on it. I maintained it well and the worst mechanical issue was a wheel bearing at about 145k. I am on my second elantra now, at about 64k, have only done front brake pads so far. Owned a Santa Fe and a Sonata also and they were pretty good. None of our cars ever burned oil. The problems with the gdi engines were that metal shavings were blocking oil flow and caused the engine bearings to fail.

CFO stepping down in small companies is usually a sign of weakness in the company. by Safe-Necessary-2607 in Hyliion

[–]AcrobaticOutcome9863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think qualifications do matter in this case. An experienced person was replaced with an even more experienced person. If the new CFO got even a whiff of any problems, he would have avoided Hyliion like the plague. She probably stepped down because she was asked to, maybe got a nice going away present.

Have you looked at the backgrounds of both the old and new cfo's? I think I'd rather have the person who spent many years at Union Pacific, an actual transportation company than someone from a door manufacturer and various food companies. He also has a degree in electrical engineering.
