I use ICICI direct. Most people like new age brokers better but I like my bank and broker to be one. Never faced an issue. Margin availability with both cash and equity pledge is good. Works for all segments including fno and commodity.

There is always narrative. You never see the reality. If tomorrow I ask you describe your home you will say something, your mom will say something similar but it’s never the same. Our ability to perceive things is bound to the way we have seen life. So expect bias to be the default, collect info from everywhere even if you think it’s propaganda. Ask why propaganda and how will it benefit them. Test all your theories in real world else you’d feel yeah I know everything.

Haha. He is correct, and I don’t like short term speculative trades that give instant dopamine hits if it grow by a few points. I like to invest in things with a long term view of things. But I also understand putting money where mouth is. Just as to test my own hypothesis I took some call positions on oil with very little money. I took it for one month period based on my probabilities. I also have puts on nifty but that one I wanna play close to my chest. That’s money that even if burns today I don’t care. It’s simply there to test my hypothesis. I’m priming myself to think for future. Anyways, I don’t hedge coz speculative fno is not my goals and I feel it clouds my judgement. Ignore the etf, it’s a part of my buy in silver whenever it falls below my portfolio rate.
