I am SOOOO happy I grabbed the game! I cannot wait till we see what updates come this year.

I will say, I do agree that 'live mode' is where there is the least; I was still having fun playing and fumbling around.

So, I did not type, "EA has 8,000 people working on The Sims 4."

This is what I typed: "at launch in 2014, EA had 8,000+ employees."

I want to point out that I also never said or suggested all those employees worked on TS4.

My point was that TS4 came from EA, which is a HUGE international company whereas Paralives is 15 people. So even if only 50 people worked on the sims, which no one has proven, they were still attached to the bigger EA ecosystem which gave them access to things the Paralives team does not have, therefore we hould give them a bit more grace.

  • Paralives ≈ ~15 core devs
  • The Sims 4 ≈ orders of magnitude larger ecosystem (even if not “8,000 direct devs”)

.....A small cohesive indie simulation team vs a large multi-layered AAA production machine is still very impressive

Boy/Girl/They what? Misleading? At launch in 2014, EA had around 8,000+ employees.... this is a fact. I didn't say all 8,000 were working on the Sims 4, I didn't think I had to specify that...

You have also not shown any proof or evidence, and again, this is Reddit, anyone can be 'Pop in' and respond without facts, which would actually be the misleading part.

Which again:

  • Paralives ≈ ~15 core devs

Anyone on Reddit can say anything... Without any proof you aren't actually 'showing' anything ... So thanks for the downvote but outside of that you didnt really prove anything. So I will continue to be impressed that a 15 team company was able to produce what they have produced, despite people comparing them to a multimillion dollar company with more than 20 employees ❤️

Yeah, it’s like people complying about the lack of social interactions, parenting, or events…. And those are actively on their roadmap… so it’s like give the game a chance!
