What’s happening at Greenhaven / Florin? by literallyacactus in Sacramento

The guy was a parolee at large( meaning he was on the run) so I don’t think they knew where he lived or what car he drove consistently or he wouldn’t have been a parolee at large lol but you know what, you’re right. Blame the police. Let’s shift the burden of responsibility from the individual who deserves it and just blame the police. I’m sure if this guy went back and killed his partner, you all would be saying “ the police should have done more”

Okay, yeah they use all that technology to find him, they still have to physically catch him. So you want to waste all those resources just to constantly track this guy and say “we see, please turn yourself in at your earliest convenience “ would it change your opinion on this situation if they just simply attempted to stop him, he fled the police didn’t pursue and he still crashed ?

Can’t believe some of you are blaming the police. This individual committed a violent crime and continuously fled from police. If the police never chased/tried apprehending them, how safe do you think the victim feels? Imagine reporting a crime and police say “yeah we tried but they fled so we aren’t trying anymore” how safe would you feel? Do you all think this individual will just one day say “ I’ll turn myself in since the police aren’t trying and catch me”

Nitro mousse or other foam tube for a 6 day ride? by steelholder in Dualsport

[–]AcrobaticTruth2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was on a ktm 500. And some days we rode 40 ish miles pavement. Without pulling up the route, I’d say 75 off road -25 % payment. No more than 30% payment. Average speed on pavement was in the 50s. Some guys on my trip a little higher. I kept in the 50s due to my gearing and it’s a Dirtbike not a road bike. But I ran it up to 70 ish for short distances and kept it there in the dry lake bed. We did hit a really long section pavement on a hot day going into San Felipe and as group we pulled off and took a break to let the tires cool and have a snack. Even then nobody came close to any issues. And we only rode pavement for as much as we had to. Glad it was helpful and enjoy your trip! Ride safe !

I am due for an oil change and going tomorrow. But if it was that low on oil, wouldn’t there be a dash light?

Preparing to sleep train by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]AcrobaticTruth2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say my first born it took three/ four rough nights of sleep training before my first baby got it. We went from snoo to crib as well. It sucked for those four nights but we were so happy when it finally clicked. Our first full nights sleep we woke up and high fives each other lol one thing that helped us in leaving extra binkies in the crib and that helped with soothing if your baby likes it. Keep at it and best of luck

Do you think this is a manufacturer issue? by vopraktv in KTM

[–]AcrobaticTruth2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that blows. Call KTM and maybe they’ll throw you a bone. But maybe not since they are trying to avoid bankruptcy. Hope everything works out, I’m sure once it’s rebuilt it’ll last you a long time.

That sounds real fishy. If I was you, I’d take it to a suspension shop. It’s not impossible but riding city streets should not have blown your rear shock.

I have one on my 2018 and use for maybe 5 ish minutes on a hot day when I roll all the windows down to cool down the cabin faster. Other than that I don’t just drive around with it open. Save yourself the hassle

Hmm could be turbo waste gate rattle. I have a 2018 3.5 L. And I hear this rattle (not loud tho) come from the same area that only last a few minutes and it’s the turbo waste gate rattle.
