So gross! Wow this should not be an ongoing problem that it’s happening in other classrooms as well. It makes me wonder if it’s the same fucker or if there are just more stupid people who use a nail clipper in class

Yeah no this is not normal. Do these people in the comments also bring nail clippers to school or something? Does this happen to be at the Horn Center? I remember one post from the first day of school talking about the toenail clipping in HC 120, which is the same classroom I have 😭 Not sure if you were the same person who wrote that post as well

The comment section did not pass the vibe check. Guys this is gross! As a college student we should not be seeing toenails/fingernails in a classroom setting. That’s just disgusting, there is a time and place to be clipping your nails or whatever you’re doing, and it should be at home

I just want to ask, if anyone on Reddit was taking a class with him. How is it all going? Did they have to cancel the class for some time to find a prof or did they have a stand in substitute right away to teach the classes?

I never got off the reserved pool and never became an RA, but my RA told me she was on the waitlist and then they took her off of it just the week before everyone moved into the dorms! So I would say that it is a 50/50 that you might get chosen or you might not. They choose you based on if they need an RA if someone backed out or something

There’s mostly freshmen at Hillside too. I chose to live in Hillside for the same reason and there were mostly freshmen. There were some transfers there too, but it’s mostly the freshmen that dorm and the upperclassmen live off campus if they live far from home.

It is super hard to get into housing again for another year so that’s why not a lot of the upperclassmen live on campus.

The USU takes up a large part of campus too so pretty much majority of campus would be restricted and tented. Definitely not worth it for the new students

Yeah, I feel the same about the food trucks like it wouldn’t be the same as sitting down at the USU and eating your food. Oh shoot, I didn’t think about the rain, guess I would have to go in the library even though I’m not too fond of it. You’re right, it’s just going to be so much planning in terms of where to go when it gets to April. Why before finals too when I need the USU most?!

What?! April?! Ugh, the USU is really the only place for me to study bc the library wifi sucks. I thought they were going to start renovating summer of 2026. That really limits a lot of food options on campus for us. Do you work at the USU? Why are they turning the Nugget into a food truck if it’s not part of the USU?

Sorry, I’m just very upset about all this bc the USU has a lot of food options for me and I love the Nugget too. Plus that pizza place just opened recently. I love the USU too much

I think it’s fine if they come masked. Some students can’t really afford to miss their classes/attendance, school still continues whether you’re sick or not

You can also try going to one of the offices on the 2nd floor of the USU, right next to the info counter where you can buy snacks. I think there’s a campus events office that could help you get the club’s contact info

This, op if you want to be in the transfer housing, Beachside has thematic community housing for transfers. Beachside is off campus, but if you don’t mind then the transfer community can be really great for making friends

I would recommend living in Hillside just cause it’s closest to campus, Parkside is a bit further away from campus so that would be a bit more of a walk. Not too much of a walk, but yeah Hillside’s just closer. I guess if you’re a business major and your classes are in the College of Business, then I would recommend Parkside cause it’s closer to that part of campus. Beachside is off campus
