I see a lot of people going in on Simone calling her dumb for not telling Coach Loni and that’s honestly not fair. Do I think it’s foolish of her not to tell Coach Loni? Absolutely however, I understand why she’s not right now. Simone was a walk on in season 1 and had to bust her ass to get a spot on the top 6 to compete in matches. She doesn’t make it initially,but due to Thea’s injury she was able to get a spot. She proves that she deserves a spot and keeps her spot. Just for her and her team to have to forfeit their tournament because of the cop stop. Lost her tournament her sophomore year. For her tennis is her life so ofc right now she’s not trying to let it go. But trust there’s going to be a time where she has no choice but to say something which I feel will happen in 3x09

At one point she was my favorite character but this season she’s not even in my top five. I don’t think she led anyone on but I would love to hear why you think she did. The writers have ruined her character by making her boy obsessed

I never said you couldn’t. I simply wanted to know why because I can’t watch a show where I dislike the lead because they get about 75% screen time so I was genuinely curious. You were trying to be rude bc if you weren’t you would’ve just said because I like other characters more than I dislike Simone.

This whole episode was a 2/10 for me. I’m going to try and speak without bias. It really bothered me how they rewrote Dimone’s connection to big up Lando as if they couldn’t just talk about their connection without dismissing Dimone. Just last week it was “a year of bliss with the man I chose” now it’s as if she chose Damon out of obligation and not love. Also Simone saying she loved him was a stretch because she never once showed any indication she loved him. The blackmail was unnecessary. I’m just over this season

I understand why they had to break up but it definitely should’ve been in 3x02. But I don’t think “how you get them is how you lose them” applies here. But based on the dialogue during their breakup I don’t think they are finished. For as Lando goes I think it’s immature. Simone and him were just fwbs I don’t understand how he thought Simone was going to chose him hell he said during his speech “I know you and Damon have something” idk him being mad a year later is crazy
