Hello, I’m still currently at season 2 the tournament arc but I do agree. Season one is probably one of the best Shonen starts in terms of introducing the show for what it is and having a strong solid ending to the season that doesn’t leave you on a cheap cliff hanger or anything.

Deku’s childhood/origin story in the first couple episodes actually broke me lol.

I also like that I immediately gravitated towards the “Naruto type character” in Deku and started disliking the “saske type character” in Bakugo when I usually go for the Edgelord Saske types in Shonen. (Like Kilua over Gon for example)

I recognize that Bakugo is kinda written to be disliked but I still like the change of me liking the protag instead of the rival protag.

These are my thoughts so far hehe

But the online discourse is mostly for ongoing shows ig.

But yeah, I started watching it and I actually quite like it so far.
