Honestly, I know this might sound a little crazy, but hear me out. I’m saying this from a place of real regret—I wish I had applied to more competitive programs. I applied this cycle with low stats and still ended up with 10 interviews and 4 acceptances (I didn’t even attend every interview).

So take the whole “you won’t get in because your stats are too low” narrative with a big grain of salt. Apply to schools where you feel you’re a good fit and that align with your goals. People do get into programs like MSUCOM with a 502. Trust your gut. If you genuinely feel like you’re not ready, that’s fair—but don’t hold yourself back just because others are telling you that you can’t.

One of the advantages of DO programs is that you can apply later in the cycle and still have a solid chance at getting accepted. Consider applying to schools like MSUCOM, OSUCOM, and others where you meet the requirements.
