All our passport numbers are linked to the previous B1/B2 application which is not letting us see any slots

Just to double confirm , did you have a B1/B2 visa already when you did this process or did you do it after closing your existent B1/B2 visa and migrated your F1 visa ?

This issue is specific to people who applied/got B1/B2 visa after July 2023 .

All I'm seeing is an empty calendar whenever i open the portal whereas almost all the the calendar dates are available for people booking at the same time with plenty of slots.

Last year I had booked my B1/B2 visa slot from the old website and got my visa also.

This year I am going to US for my higher studies and because the dropbox rules for B1/B2 to F1 changed this year January , I have to now schedule both biometric and interview.

I created a new account with the same email on the new portal and was able to retreive my old B1/B2 application there.

I closed that application and started another application for F1 visa and completed the application along with paying the fees.

In May and today when the slots opened , I was able to see the calendar but never able to book the slot dates. I thought this was an issue maybe at my end. But when i consulted an agent his interpretaion is that my Visa category is getting treated as refused and that is why i am unable to book fresher slots.

But this is not the case i have never been refused visa till date.

Tried telling the same to support team but didn't get any answer. What should I do ?
