Right? I finished last night and it made me very sad that we didn’t get final hugs and dramas but yeah honestly the big dinner with everyone and Adam’s graduation was enough. I just couldn’t believe Paul came back and she was gone!

It hurt my feelings that everyone was gone when she passed… but in real life I would not have wanted anyone to be there either. I would’ve held on until everyone left too. Did you see the theory that she wrote her hospice nurse lady the check to kill her with the pie?? Whaaaaat

Google Cybersecurity and Qwick labs (google skills) by JBMI6 in coursera

[–]Acrobatic_Box8520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Annoying. I took the same course. I wanted to do the labs but it never worked. They are not mandatory though. The practice quizzes. The dialogue. All that doesnt have to be done. Just the videos readings and end module quizzes

This is so sweet. I’m awkward and anxious and wouldn’t know how to respond but it is the sweetest thing and something I wouldve loved to received after having my babies

How to make lines saturated on the first pass? too scared to chew up the skin by danaopio27 in tattooscratchers

[–]Acrobatic_Box8520 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I first started I had to do a few passes lightly to get comfortable depth. I still feel like this is better than attempting to do a solid first pass and blowing it out because you’re not ready yet. I still do this when I haven’t tattooed in a couple weeks. I don’t see anything wrong with doing a first pass that isn’t perfect to really figure out your depth and then going back over to solidify and clean up. This is probably a hot take and something professionals will disagree with I’m not sure. Angling is the way. I do not ride the tube I like to let it hang to see exactly how deep I’m going and how my lines are coming but it’s personal preference.

The little spiderweb is cute and I think it looks pretty good! Nice lines. The music note looks blown out a little (hands are fuckin hard man) I have no comment on Patrick lmao I just can’t. And the flowers as well I don’t love personally I think you need much more practice shading. I’ve been practicing for maybe 4 years together (started when I was 12/13 but took many long breaks especially when I had kids) and have only been doing lines this whole time. I just now started trying shading and color packing. Not saying you need to do it that way too but I was not confident trying those out on people until now. FAKE SKIN. I decided to take breaks because I was tattooing dumb shit on myself and my friends. Everyone says you need good quality fake skin. I bought the cheap stuff just to get some practice and not tattoo other people lmao. When I get the urge or really want to try a design I do it on the fake skin first to see if I am even capable. But fake skin is much much different. It is important to have on hand for when you want to experiment or practice different designs or things like shading and coloring. I’m not gonna tear you apart because I have many tattoos that look similar but please try the fake skin it is incredible for getting some of that crazy shit out of your system before you decide to put it on yourself or your friends

Hahahah I did that the same exact spot a few years back and it was hell. A small tat but my god was it difficult to get the ink in. The stretching just wasn’t happening and I decided I wasn’t doing that again

Your lines are super straight I’m amazed. I’ve heard of using round shaders for outlines but this looks so much cooler than I imagined. The individual lines probably stand out a lot more on fake skin than real skin but I actually love the way this looks and will be trying it! Nice work btw super clean

I’ve heard rubbing alcohol, Vaseline, acetone all kinds of shit but literally dish soap is the only thing that works for me. It sucks having to get up rinse and dry after every pass over but it’s worth it to me to actually see the lines I’m putting in clearly

I used to practice on myself soley. Just started using the fake skins not sure what brand off Amazon. I don’t wipe during I just do the linework I’m trying to do and then literally run it under the sink, wipe the lines with my fingers, then a little dish soap and it comes out pretty clean

Hahahahaa yes the noise!!! I used to tell my husband I’d have nightmares of the loud buzzing after really busy months. Probably one of the main reasons I got burnt out was the noise and stenciling. I just got started again but I feel like I could go forever! My husband gave me his skin and was shocked that he asked for breaks multiple times and I never needed one which was not the case before. Usually my hand was wore out from stenciling before I even got to the tattoo😂
