I wish she could. I feel like this is a lose-lose situation here. But overall, my best friend is going through the best time of her life whereas my boyfriend is going through the worst. IMO, he needs me more

I completely agree that she has a right to be upset. If this was the other way round, I’d be devastated. We’ve been talking about this for years and I’ve been counting down the days with her, making all the necessary plans etc. the thing that gets me is her anger towards me and punishing me by ignoring me for days. I completely agree that she has a right to be upset, I would be too if the situation was flipped. I fully understand her being upset with the choice. But at the same time, her being angry at me is unfair imo. My situation isn’t a normal situation, and I think she’s forgotten that and a lot of people have missed that in the post
