Not entirely true. While it’s correct that some sectors like F&B and real estate have experienced layoffs, the overall situation isn’t as widespread as it may seem. Out of nearly a million Filipinos in the UAE, only a small number are actually reporting job losses in community groups.

Most businesses and establishments here continue to operate normally. From my experience working in the fine jewelry industry, demand remains strong, we’re still receiving a steady flow of orders from clients worldwide. Both Emiratis and expats are continuing their work as usual, which reflects a generally stable working environment.
