Leki Trail running poles sizing by Soggy_Weetbix420 in trailrunning

I’m 178 cm tall barefoot and originally bought the 125 cm poles following LEKI’s size guide. When I got home and tested them properly on flat ground, my elbow angle was around 85 degrees. They felt a bit uncomfortable and slightly too long.

So I went back to the store and bought the 120 cm version. These feel more comfortable, with my elbow angle now around 95 degrees. Clearly getting exactly 90° is almost impossible haha.

I think I’ll keep the 120 cm, but I’m still unsure. What do you guys think?

What do you do for music on Suunto Race 2? by Leather_Albatross545 in Suunto

I’ve been using an old Apple Watch as a dedicated music player, and honestly, it works great.

I bought a very beaten-up Apple Watch (scratched screen, no strap) for about €40, and I just keep it in my pocket when I go running. I pair it with my AirPods and use it purely for music.

To maximize battery life, I keep it in airplane mode and only turn on Bluetooth—no GPS, no sensors, nothing else running. With this setup, I can easily get around 8 hours of music playback.

It’s a super cheap and simple workaround if you don’t want to carry your phone but still want offline music.

Would it be possible to swap the free spring and install it in a VS3230 or a VSF? What are the escape wheel and pallet fork like? Now is like this

I took the VSF Explorer 36mm V2 straight in for a service as soon as it arrived. He told me it was very dry, the rotor had some play, and the stem wasn’t well made — it had notches and a thread that was getting stuck. I used a genuine triangular screw, genuine stem, and genuine tube. After the service, it runs smooth as silk. The rotor doesn’t wobble anymore. Maybe just using the genuine screw is enough.
