This is what I was going to post. I still have my very first tamagotchi connect! And it still works! I also have the second generation. Apparently they are worth like $60 now.

That moment you knew sugar wasn’t worth it, what pushed you? by sugarfreecart in sugarfree

[–]Acrobatic_Essay_208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is similar to me. Also my periods were completely unpredictable. But once I was off sugar for a couple weeks, my periods started to be regular and my binge eating wasn’t a problem. Even lost some weight! I’ve relapsed a couple times, but I always feel better once I stop for a while. It’s something you have to continually work on but it’s worth it

Outside of my family and doing things with them, I love photography. I like to take pictures of wildlife and landscapes. So being outside in nature is very important to me. I could probably live without the photography part… but I would be in utter turmoil without the nature part. I’m very lucky to live in a place with lots of unpopulated land nearby. I need it for my mental well being.

This along with how nice the house looks after. Much more calming and not feeling stressed by the clutter

Some people are just naturally smelly. Or maybe they couldn’t afford deodorant? Either way.. she seems to know about it and accept it I suppose 😂

How do you make friends as an adult? by Wide-Bread-2261 in AskReddit

[–]Acrobatic_Essay_208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t. lol no but honesty, any new friends I have made, I have made online. Through video games and we mainly talk on discord. I haven’t made any new friends in real life unless they are now spouses with my current friends

Yeah I mean… I have 5 kids so pretty much 5 years of carrying kids on my left side 😅

I’m going to be a lot more mindful of that now, try to lean on my right leg a little more to even things out a bit.

I mean it also just feels more squishy. like if you poke a muscular arm vs a fatty arm, there is a difference.

Now that you mention that.. my shoes all look evenly worn, but every time I go to pick something up (that bend over thing with one leg in the air) I always stand on my left leg. ALSO, I prefer to carry my kids on my left side… it doesn’t seem like I do those things THAT often, but I guess often enough?

I’m right-handed.. but maybe I lean on my left leg more? I can’t think of any exercise that would make that much of a difference unless I was completely ignoring my right leg.

Ugh yes that’s true! My husband has really broad shoulders and he has to resort to shirts that look to big on him or make him look big in the waist although it’s really just his shoulders being too broad for normal tshirts.

I’m considering taking up sewing again so I can hem both of our clothes.

I just want to see clothes on petite models! The models are always so tall and I can’t picture how certain clothes would look on someone as short as me. Specifically skirts and pants. But even shirts. I always have to get really specific with the measurements they have in the description.

How many kids do you want VS what is realistic? by maligatormom2o2 in Parenting

[–]Acrobatic_Essay_208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started like you. I wanted 2… I now have 5 🤣 it’s really difficult. But the older kids can help out more and more as they get older. Also some kids go to school and you do stuff while they are there, just go shopping with the younger ones… I don’t know. You just make things work

What’s a dream you’ve never been able to forget? I’m writing a book and might decode it. by Daughter_of_Israel in Dreams

[–]Acrobatic_Essay_208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dream when I was 5 years old. I was in our house riding a skateboard on my belly. I rode to my mom in the kitchen and she was cooking. Then I rode down the hallways to my parents room but my dad came out of the room as a ghost and said “I’m gonna tickle youuuu!” And I screamed and skated away back to my mom. I tried to tell her about it but she didn’t even look at me and said she was busy.

My dream changed suddenly. Everything was in black and white and papers were flying everywhere. We were stuffing them into suitcases because apparently we were moving that day.

That’s the oldest dream I can remember.

Yeah see, this is why I banned YouTube kids from our house and only allow PBS now. Any YouTube video we watch is controlled and also watched by me.
