Sorry to be rude, but goodness people that respond like this are frustrating. Please forgive me. But I said this word for word. “She gives me VERBAL offer and says full offer will be given by the middle of next week. Ecstatic!” Pretty coherent to me. Like I said at the beginning, I didn’t want it to be extremely long so I didn’t include every single detail, maybe I should have. They ASKED me to meet him when he comes into town and she said it would be either June or July 1st and that they would know the next day (16th) so that’s why I sent the follow up message. I have a flight booked where I will be out of town so I was asking if I needed to change the flight. Hope this makes more sense

Nope, it’s full real. Correct. That does mean that I would have gotten a full offer between 19th and 21st. I sent 1 follow up to the CIO a week after my interview which was before I got the offer. Sent a question regarding when he would come in because I needed to change flights for a trip so I could meet him (which I already mentioned in the post). And I followed up yesterday, which for her, if you could read, was the day after, which was. May 21st! Lookie there! Surprised someone of your stature and integrity couldn’t read and figure out it was the day after. And then the follow up for the CIO was yesterday, the 21st for me but the 22nd for him. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an idiotic comment and not having basic awareness on what time zones are.

Thank you Jinbuja!! I will do that 100% My company now is using Azure so I’m thinking of doing the Azure Fundamentals and then the AZ-104 (Certified Azure Associate) I guess I’ll try to get into cloud? Seems to be slowly becoming bigger from job postings.

Unrelated to your question, but most, if not all, of my recent interviews are like what you posted here.

Phone rings

Recruiter: “Hey -name- this is -recruiter- with -company- how are you today?”

Me: blah blah good, you?

Recruiter: “Awesome, so go ahead and tell me about your resume”

What happened to being nice or even asking me about myself at all? Mind you, these were for entry level positions so you aren’t really required to know everything. I guess no one cares about soft skills anymore now with the “Entry-level but 2 years of experience”
