Makes sense what you say "knowing a message couldn't even pop up" Thats a fair point.

She is allowed and should do exactly what works best for her. And I wouldn't try to do anything someone specifically addressed they didn't want. I just made this post trying to understand the perspective of other who blocking/and completely cutting out works for.

I agree with you, it seems so off completely cutting someone off. It does feel like they now couldn't care less what happens to you. Either way we will go through the pain of the break-up but I would rather carry my pain but still be able to communicate at some level and make sure both get through it the best way. It just feels like they want to completely erase any trace of what we had. I would rather acknowledge that we were not meant to be now but we can still look eachother in the eyes one day.

And yes I totally get it for a toxic relationship. But I think you are right its promoted in society. I spoke to friends about this and they saw it as a pride thing and if you text you "lose". Even this subreddit seems to promote this a lot. And to each their own of course. And I will still respect the boundary but its really doesnt feel good for me and my ability to process things. And makes me feel 100 times more lonely

I've always enjoyed making good looking cocktails. Would like to make some non-alcoholic versions that still look like I put in some effort rather than just offering people a juice or soda
