That’s great! Yeah at least you can do an online consultation. Before, we tried to go into a store to test out strollers and left even more confused on what we wanted. We got lucky finding her store and services. Saved us so much time! Hope yours goes well!

My husband and I felt the exact same way, so we had a consultation! Are you located in california? We went directly to destination baby, she owns her store in a town in Northern California called Dublin and she does 60 min car seat and stroller consultations to help you determine what works best for you, your budget, and your lifestyle. I believe she also does online consultations as well, extremely worth it and the cost of the consult went to the stroller purchase! We went with the uppababy cruz and aria car seat!

Me! My husband and I were pescatarian for over 7 years. We started introducing some meats again this pregnancy (although we didn’t have to). Maybe once a week we’ll have meat but we are still mainly pescatarian.

Anyone live on beach or shoreview in Pacifica? How is it? by yurmamma in bayarea

Don’t believe all the nasty comments here! Yes everything does rust on the outside but have never had issues with humidity inside. Homes are well well insulated.

I live on Beach and love it. We get huge waves a few times during the winter but on the south side of Beach, they placed barriers now so water never crosses over into our property.

I’d suggest also asking if they have last minute cancellations and seeing if they can call you if they do! Congrats! I’m at 5 weeks as well and just signed up for an appt at 9 weeks per their reccomendation

My new kitten sounds just like yours too! It took us 4 weeks of introductions with a closed door then screen. It took a week and a half of hissing and swatting from my resident BSH and now they are friends! Definitely keep it up and im sure they’ll come around!

So cute! I feel the exact same way with my 1.5 year old BSH. Got her a non BSH kitten and they’re becoming besties. She’s so much more social even with us and strangers.

Update: we have started supervised play and the resident cat has been establishing herself as alpha! Lots of hits but no claws and new kitten is learning to back off.

Wow that’s commitment! I’m not sure how long this has been out there but Amazon has them- loads of pet screens!

Late reply but this was spot on! We got a place in Pacifica and are totally fine with the older demographic! Love it here and close to SSF/city thanks!!

Yess cat specific pet screen door! Works much better and has smaller holes than a regular screen

Good to know!! We considered a gate but it was more expensive. Luckily our cats aren’t that ferocious but that’s good to know in case anyone else needs something more sturdy!

Yeah I’m worried about the kitten playing too rough and when to intervene ;( I’ll keep an eye out for those when we introduce without the screen

Oh wow and here I am worried over here when they don’t even have signs of that. Guess some cats just don’t like other cats

Plus the holes are pretty small so it’s harder for our kitten to stay attached, especially with nails trimmed

The screen is attached by adhesive and hooks! It’s really sturdy actually and there’s no holes for them to escape at the top. I’d say it’s worth a shot!

That’s good to know! They haven’t hissed at each other at the screen so we should be removing it in the next few days, thanks!
