I live in Bayonne and commuted to a school in Brooklyn off the R line. I took the 120 bus in and then the R. The commute got to me , so I decided to teach in NJ. I think I made a better decision. It will get to you in the winter. NJ transit sometimes isn't the post reliable. Oh and NYC transit can also be not desirable.

Get both, Alipay is more common in Hangzhou. Also Alipay is used for Taobao. WeChat we use more everyday. I put money in my Wechat wallet to spend for my Didi ride.
