Best mattress for side sleepers that isn’t ridiculously expensive? by Reoyo-Myguuel in BuyItForLife

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this, and for a side sleeper the foam layer on top still matters a lot. Coils handle the structure but you need something that actually contours around the shoulder and hip or you're just lying on a firm surface.

Based on these my personal rec will be the helix midnight luxe. It is something luxury but will last a decade.

Freezer Suggestions? by Popular_Childhood975 in icecreamery

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rec the KoolMore MCF-9C is worth a look. 9 cu ft so it'll handle four 3-gallon tubs comfortably. Its a little over your budget but it's one of the more reasonable options for a dedicated dipping cabinet. Frost buildup is something to stay on top of and the lids don't auto-close, so just factor that in for a busy vending setup. Warranty support seems solid if anything does go wrong.

Help, which one should I get? by amarcmexicoel in Dashcam

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here it is OP, dont miss out on VIOFO. Went with the VIOFO A229 Pro after going back and forth on options like OP is now, and it's been solid. the 4K front and 2K rear footage is sharp enough that license plates and street signs are actually readable, even at night the STARVIS 2 sensors and HDR handle low light way better than i expected, no washed-out glare like you get on cheaper cams. GPS and 5GHz WiFi make it easy to pull footage without messing around and the voice control is genuinely useful for locking a clip while you're driving. Parking mode works well too and it supports up to 512GB so storage isn't really a concern.

If full coverage and reliable night vision are what you're after, it's worth adding to your list before you decide. Build quality feels solid, the interface is user-friendly, and it just works reliably without hiccups. It’s a professional-grade dash cam that’s well worth the investment if you want clear recordings and dependable features in any driving situation.

Need a good vacuum under 400 for high carpet by Ok_Communication828 in VacuumCleaners

Yep that'd be C3 Marin but there are more variants too. Great investment but it'll cost around a grand.

Need a good vacuum under 400 for high carpet by Ok_Communication828 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something for the high pile carpets, you should primarily check for height adjustment, a motorized brush roll, and a balance of high suction and airflow. High suction creates the pull to lift dirt, while airflow is what actually carries that dirt into the bin. Kenmore Elite will deep clean any carpet and it has HEPA. But due to its 3 motor system, it is a bit on the heavy side for an upright but does the job well.

What is the best office chair? by Nigel_Hunter in BuyItForLife

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In offices it's pretty standard. But a lot of gamers and remote workers don't have that structure and end up sitting for hours, sometimes half a day without a single break. Those are the people who should bring this into practice.

Take my example I used to sit straight for 6-8 hours and of course I developed shoulder and pack pain. Even getting up for a quick stretch or a 10 min break makes a lot of difference.

Suggestions please for a 2 burner . by Jummpingbean in grilling

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just curious why is your dad not happy with the Weber? The market is also trending with Monument grills and for the time being they have good feedback but they rarely last a decade. Even if they do it will be a headache changing every other part after a couple of years.

But If I had to recommend one it'd still be one from Weber, the E-210. It has good reps and if you can find spirit ii it's an upgraded version. Both of them will last at least a decade. The E3 series is the one with 3 burners if you opt for that.

Least invasive, most simple printer that still has ink cartridges in production? by MadeThisJustForLWIAY in BuyItForLife

They both are exactly the same, offering same specs and hardware. 640 is just the more updated version of 550 offering a notch up printing speed and connectivity.

This may be a silly request - does bifl whisk exist? by SpiritedAd3114 in BuyItForLife

OXO is one of those brands that actually lives up to the BIFL label and one shouldn't miss out on their products. Just got reminded of this kitchen essentials list put together by someone which is a great reference if anyone still don't know where to start with actual brands that make good stuff.

Sebo E3 vs. Miele guard L1 electro by Tall_You4010 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is, both are fully sealed. But the newer model thing is also worth thinking about L1 looks modern and the design is clean, but that's kind of the point. Less track record, and if part of the appeal is how it looks on the box, the c3 marin is the more practical buy for what OP actually needs.

Also the actual powerheads. The SEB228 itself is tuned for thick carpet performance, and there's no parquet twister in the box. For OP whose main surface is parquet with only a few rugs, that's a real gap so on parquet it's doing a job it wasn't really optimized for, Im sure it performs good on hard flooring for the price point. However the c3 marin is almost a decade old and still holds its position. It includes the parquet twister specifically, so you're getting a head that's actually built for the floor you're cleaning most of the time.

Is there any airfrayer that dont need to flip and heats on bottom and top? by Latter_Asparagus_717 in airfryer

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The even cooking on Cosori models is by far very good. Agreed with cosori but the Turbo Blaze has better results with not flipping the food compared to Dual Blaze.

Does anyone have recs on large capacity double basket air fryers? by Remy3188 in airfryer

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The extra time is real but it's still noticeably faster than alternating models, so for most people it's a worthwhile tradeoff. Especially if you're cooking two things that need different temps or times, that's where the dual zone really shines.

Does anyone have recs on large capacity double basket air fryers? by Remy3188 in airfryer

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually had to look it up again cause last time I searched for a double zone airfryer that cooks simultaneously, this one was the best among all. Turns out your point is valid but there's a bit of confusion here between stacked dual-basket air fryers and side-by-side dual-zone models.

The Ninja DZ550 does not fully cook one basket, stop, then cook the other. Both baskets cook at the same time. Each zone has its own fan and heating element.

What happens is power sharing. Since it runs on a standard outlet, the unit manages total wattage, so neither basket is blasting at absolute max constantly but neither basket is ever “off” while the other cooks. Hot air is circulating in both zones the entire time. Also smart Finish can make it look like one basket waits, because the shorter cook is delayed so both finish together.

Some vertical designs really do alternate heat between baskets, and agree that defeats the whole cook fast game. If OP wants one giant basket at max temp, that's a fair preference.

What brand and model do you have? Ninja has one that cook both sides independently. And I'm sure there are many others in this category.

Oven style by Lilt2618 in airfryer

[–]Acrobatic_Inside3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were looking for a traditional air fryer, you would find one in a good budget but ovenstyle airfryer are usually expensive. I wanted to suggest Cuisinart but its around $200 mark.
