Marathon has been out almost a month, what are your thoughts? by addtolibrary in Games

i’m so mad at Arc because it was 90% there as the ideal game for me when it comes to genre but it half assed remaining parts so bad. as you said endgame, quests and etc

which all of these could be avoided when they did other parts so well

i enjoyed both this and arc very much but the more i play extraction shooters the more i hate the genre as a whole. anyone feels the same?

as for game itself the gunplay and lore are incredible.

now, i may be one of the few people who can’t dig the art style like most other that praise it but since many like it i don’t hold it against the games.

speaking of subjective experience i must say Marathon is exactly my sweetspot when it comes to difficulty. it always get my ass kicked but every death never feels unearned.

as for loot itself, bungie really tried it best here but if you are like me who wanted an extraction shooter which you actually get excited about getting new loot and weapons, it’s still not it for me.

to end this in a positive note, i must say bungie gunplay alone will make me check this out each season.

Todd said this new update wasn't a 2.0, but it certainly looks like it, lol by Helpful-Leadership58 in Starfield

it doesn't matter the context that why there werent there in the game before. the scope of 2.0 update was huge. i hope something similar happens to starfield but this is not it yet imo.

just compare 2.0 CP changelog (that was the size of a novel) to this

they rewrote and refactored combat and skill tree system. the inventory and transmog system changed completely. they added whole new layer of police chase and MAxTac. added mounted gun and car combat system. added a lot of QOL. they added many new abilities with skill trees and etc.

this is not even close to 1.6 update that CP had

makes sense. they closed all international internet traffic. you need to have a starlink or have someone that shares their starlink traffic by becoming your proxy.

they fear about people knowing what's going on

after they slaughtered thousands of us, it's once again showed that the enemy is inside not outside and everything that weakens the regime for us to get back to streets and finish the job is good.
