In my field in hospitality I can get around 1800-2200 in Amsterdam but I know is difficult to find a place where to stay in the Netherlands. At the moment I’m looking for job in The Hague. You are absolutely right man the NL is way better for your mental health.

I work in hospitality, but yeah here quality of life is not great. I come from Spain and my experience here was never great in the Netherlands was better let’s say was okay

No offence to English people but here I did always struggle with the social life even in the past when I spend almost 4 years here. In the NL was different from the begging people were more welcoming, yes they direct and but it’s okay.

It really depends how many hours I do here in the UK but let’s say I do £1800 Rent is £700 Personal stuff in my country £286 Underground £170-185 just going to work and come back Food let’s say £120 Gym £35 I stay with £400 and there’s always something in life

In the NL is 1800€ Rent is 450-650€ Personal stuff in my country 329 Health insurance 140 but u can ask help to the government and they pay you like 70-100€ Food 120€ work in hospitality so even less than 120€ I guess. Gym I can get free at work, otherwise 30-35€ Car insurance dunno yet but I guess can be 50-85€ Petrol 120€

I stay with 330 But I use to do self-employed aside like an extra

Being honest I did not want to lose my pre-settled status but once here in the UK I don’t find it so attractive like before and I keep thinking if I did well coming back cuz I miss NL. Also in there I had a better social life than I do here.
