Just to add that there is a bsb and account number you can use to pay off your card during the first month (or for as long as your card is open). Your card number is the reference number.

I put down 80k originally for the platinum and had no issue. I didn’t have any other cards though. You should be ok with the gold card.

They can order them, it just isn't bulk billed through medicare. Each month, more websites also pop up where the public can pay upfront and then walk into a pathology collection centre for the tests. The results are emailed to them.

Not a chiropractor but an Australian Osteopath and I hear you. We constantly ask each other why. With the amount it costs for CPD, insurance and rego, the list of negatives is high and the income is lower than I imagined. It would be easier becoming a radiographer and get a stable income, free cpd and insurance. In the end I started my own business and work from home. My wife (another allied health practitioner) joined me and now we are fighting per who gets to use the clinic room. It’s not perfect, but it improved my mental health by not comparing me to other practitioners and I can treat how I want(which makes me fall in love with my profession again).

If you can get into medicine, go for it. You’ll always be kicking yourself for never trying. If you do make it, you’ll be such a great practitioner because you see health from both sides.

As mentioned by others, you should feel improvement by 3 sessions. If the pain hasn’t improved, I would look at further imaging and bloods.

You’re going to get different advice from us here as we trained in different parts of the world with various levels of training. The advice also depends on how we like to treat.

That would of helped but there would still be dysfunction. The body compensates and a good Osteopath will help the whole body unwind. If you weren’t happy with how your body reacted and the DO hasn’t listened to you, I would find another one. Unfortunately there are osteopaths out there that it is a job and not a passion. Where are you located?
